The Board of PRIMESHIP is accountable for the overall environmental compliance and performance. This includes providing guidance and necessary resources and support to ensure that PRIMESHIP’s business activities are undertaken in a manner that at all times considers and effectively manages potential environmental risks.
PRIMESHIP’s individual business managers are responsible for implementing PRIMESHIP’s environmental policies and guidelines. They are entrusted to proactively address issues that may adversely affect environmental performance within their business. This includes assessing likely environmental outcomes before decisions to proceed with activities and considering environmental outcomes when making decisions in the same way that consideration is given to safety, cost, quality, and time.
PRIMESHIP requires its employees to cooperate in the management of environmental matters. Employees must monitor the continued effectiveness of the company’s environmental controls within the scope of their day-to-day work and report to management issues of concern or areas of improvement.
PRIMESHIP will where appropriate consult with relevant regulatory agencies, management, and employees on the development, implementation, and refinement of its environmental responsibilities.
PRIMESHIP will conduct all of its activities in accordance with relevant legislation and government policy and agreements.
